Some photos and polaroids from June. I feel like I've been neglecting my film cameras lately and I want to make sure to rememdy that through the month of July. It's a little expensive sometimes but man, I just do love them. We're planning a long weekend trip to our cabin later this month with my brother, his girlfriend, Hayley and two of her friends and I'm so excited to bring along at least the Diana, Polaroid and Fisheye. Dallas is especially fond of the Fisheye and made me promise that we'd bring it "with lots of film!" Speaking of Dallas and film, I got another roll that he shot with his little robot camera developed, I just need to find the time to scan them!
I'm pretty sure this is one of my very favorite pictures of Dallas, ever. He was trying to show off his band-aid that was covering the tiniest of scratches but that smile was too sweet to not focus on.

Proud Guy.

I've been working on customizing one of my denim jackets. Bleaching, studding, fading and shredding. I'm still not quite done with it but it's been too hot to wear anyway so I'm in no rush.

I also went to town studding some bottles that I'd found at the thrift store.

I've mastered the art of stove-popped popcorn and it's become a daily ritual for the kiddos and I to sit on our big floor pillows, watch Bubble Guppies (Lula's favorite) and share a big bowl.

Little artist.

She loves snatching up my phone and scrolling through the pictures. It's adorable watching her chubby little finger whisk across the screen until she lands on one she wants to look and giggle at.

She's also obsessed with my jewelry. As soon as I get her up in the morning she heads directly to my accessory tray, steals a couple of bracelets and sometimes a ring before heading off to eat her morning banana. This would explain why I'm constantly having to clean the stickiness off of my bracelets. It's seriously adorable though how much she loves headbands, shoes, jewelry, Bonne Bell lipgloss (Dr. Pepper specifically) and her one little fleece hoodie. It doesn't matter how hot it is these days, she'll go find that (very warm) jacket, hand it to someone and demand for it to be put on along with her little silver moccasins and sometimes her red sequin devil horns too. I've got a little fashionista on my hands here it seems.

He was so very proud of himself for climbing up the park's jungle gym all by himself.

Some Freddy Fender on a sunny night.

And a dancing session with Guy to cheer up a sad little girl.

Don't lie, he's rocking some of the coolest tanlines ever, huh? One of the joys of his trade ;)

And Lula is just too sweet with her girlie self!
I've been so lazy on finishing it but I swear, I'll eventually get around to it, haha. Hopefully before the cool weather starts coming back around ;)

ReplyDeleteThank you! Oh yes, we really do have to! I think it's the cutest thing that she just adores all her 'pretties' (as she calls them) it's such a new but adorable thing to experience. He is a union carpenter, right now he's working on a hospital here doing panels outside so he's in the sun (when it's out) all the time. His tan lines seriously crack me up.
Deleteoh man, GREAT tanlines Andy!! ;D haha! Your family is full of such amazing personality!
